Sydney hosts ASBC/F Ramadan gathering with key Saudi dignitaries to foster strategic partnership
The Australian Saudi Business Council & Forum (ASBC/F) hosted a special Iftar event in Sydney to mark the holy month of Ramadan, bringing together a distinguished group of Saudi officials, business leaders, and community members to celebrate and strengthen bilateral relations.
The event was honoured by the presence of esteemed delegates from the Royal Saudi Embassy in Canberra, including His Excellency Sultan bin Khuzaim, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Australia; His Excellency Meshare bin Naheet, Saudi Consul General; and His Excellency Atif AlOthri, Commercial Attaché. Their attendance highlighted the continued commitment of both nations to fostering meaningful diplomatic and economic collaboration.
More than 50 guests participated in the evening, which served as both a cultural celebration and a platform for dialogue around trade and investment opportunities between Australia and Saudi Arabia. Discussions throughout the event reflected a shared vision for deeper cooperation, particularly in the context of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and the growing interest of Australian businesses in the Kingdom.

ASBC/F also extended its gratitude to the Aramco Australia team and the Saudi Defence Attaché for their presence and support, which added further significance to the occasion.

This gathering exemplified the power of cultural tradition in bridging nations and underlined ASBC/F’s role in promoting prosperous, long-term partnerships between Australia and Saudi Arabia.
