International Astronautical Congress Set to Propel Global Collaboration in Space Innovation

The Australian Saudi Business Council and Forum (ASBC/F) is pleased to highlight the International Astronautical Congress (IAC) 2025 Countdown Event, held on 30 September 2024 in Sydney. The session provided a comprehensive overview of IAC2025—the world’s largest and most prestigious space industry event—set to take place in Sydney with an anticipated 10,000 delegates from over 100 countries.

Key speakers from Investment NSW, the Australian Space Agency, and the Space Industry Association of Australia outlined the strategic importance of IAC2025 in advancing global trade, investment, and partnerships across the space sector. The event reinforced Sydney’s role as a leading hub for space research, exploration, and commercial innovation.
Discussions highlighted a wide range of planned city-wide activations and initiatives, demonstrating Australia’s commitment to positioning Sydney as a global leader in space innovation ahead of the 2025 Congress. Participants were encouraged to support the Congress by promoting it across international business and diplomatic networks to attract ministerial, industry, and investor delegations.
