The Australian Saudi Business Council & Forum (ASBC/F) was honoured to witness a landmark achievement at this year’s Future Minerals Forum, with the debut of the first-ever Australian Country Stand and the largest Australian presence to date—welcoming over 300 registered attendees.
This milestone reflects the deepening strength of the Australia–Saudi bilateral trade and investment relationship, and the growing momentum for collaboration in the mining, resources, and industrial innovation sectors.
It was a pleasure to welcome His Excellency Bandar Alkhorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, and His Excellency Khalid Almudaifer, Vice Minister for Mining Affairs, to the Australia Stand—demonstrating the Kingdom’s support for strategic partnerships with Australian industry leaders.
ASBC/F extends its sincere congratulations to His Excellency Mark Donovan, Australian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the Austrade team led by Todd Miller and Abd Hakmi, for their outstanding leadership throughout the forum.
We also acknowledge the invaluable contributions of our state partners:
Kassem Y. – Trade and Investment Queensland
Aziz Saba, MBA – Invest and Trade Western Australia
Lamia Damerje, MDY – Global Victoria
Atif AlOthri – Commercial Attaché of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Australia
