Lucidya Raises Record-Breaking $30 Million to Fuel AI-Powered Customer Experience Platform

Lucidya raises $30M to boost AI customer experience platform

Saudi Arabia’s artificial intelligence sector has reached a significant milestone with Riyadh-based startup Lucidya closing a $30 million Series B funding round—the largest AI fundraising round in the Kingdom’s history to date.

The round was led by Wa’ed Ventures, the venture capital arm of Saudi Aramco, and included participation from prominent investors such as Impact46, Takamol Ventures, SparkLabs, Rua Growth Fund, and ARG.

Homegrown AI Innovation

Founded in 2016, Lucidya specialises in AI-powered customer experience management (CXM). The company’s proprietary platform enables real-time sentiment analysis across Arabic dialects, customer engagement tracking, data analytics, and privacy-compliant insights for enterprises, government bodies, and SMEs across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

Lucidya’s platform is uniquely tailored to the region’s linguistic and regulatory landscape, setting it apart from international competitors and helping organisations better understand and respond to Arabic-speaking customers in real time.

Strategic Funding to Drive Expansion

The $30 million injection of capital will be used to expand Lucidya’s product offering, grow its internal teams, and scale operations across the GCC and MENA regions. It also represents a high level of investor confidence in the future of sovereign AI innovation in Saudi Arabia.

According to the company, the funding will accelerate development in natural language processing, machine learning, and enterprise-grade analytics tailored to Arabic-speaking markets—positioning Lucidya to become a dominant force in AI-based CX platforms in the region.

Alignment with Vision 2030

This record-breaking raise strongly aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which seeks to diversify the national economy through strategic investment in high-growth, tech-driven sectors. Lucidya’s success reflects the Kingdom’s rapidly evolving AI ecosystem, as well as its ambition to become a regional hub for emerging technologies.

In addition to economic diversification, initiatives like this bolster job creation, digital transformation, and global competitiveness, establishing Saudi Arabia as a breeding ground for AI scale-ups.

A Regional Leader in the Making

Lucidya’s growth trajectory and investor backing position it as one of the most promising AI startups not just in Saudi Arabia, but across the entire GCC region.

As the Kingdom continues to channel public and private capital into AI innovation, Lucidya’s story will serve as a benchmark for what’s possible when technology, investment, and national vision converge.
